Albanian International School (AIS) is an established international school located in Tirana, Albania, the country’s capital city. With eleven years of experience, AIS is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education and Sport and the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
We are seeking dedicated, flexible, and enthusiastic teachers who are prepared to teach multiple subjects in a classroom setting and contribute actively to the continued growth of the school and its wider community.
The Role
As a teacher at Albanian International School, you will serve as a homeroom teacher and take responsibility for delivering a broad range of subjects in accordance with the school’s curriculum standards.
The successful candidate will be organized, punctual, adaptable, and committed to supporting students both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a homeroom teacher.
- Follow established curriculum standards and school guidelines.
- Develop daily lesson plans for all assigned subjects for review by the Academic Director.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple subject areas.
- Complete grading, lesson planning, and other academic responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Provide additional support to students with assignments, projects, and other academic needs.
- Contribute to student recruitment and the school’s reputation through community outreach.
- Participate in occasional marketing and community events outside regular school hours.
- Write short monthly articles for the school newsletter.
- Maintain a highly organized and punctual approach to all teaching and administrative responsibilities.
